Our Crushed Bauxite Aggregate is a key component in Roadzilla® MMA systems and other methyl methacrylate coatings. Thanks to its exceptional hardness and anti-slip properties, it improves both performance and safety. With a verified Mohs Hardness of 8, this calcined bauxite is built to increase surface friction, boost durability, and enhance long-term safety in high-traffic areas.

Typically, contractors broadcast the aggregate onto freshly applied MMA resins. As a result, it delivers excellent skid resistance on walkways, intersections, bike paths, and other surfaces where traction matters. Because of its strength and reliability, it also works well as a standalone additive for projects that require long-lasting grip and compliance with safety standards.

Usage Guidelines:

• Bike lanes: Must use aggregate with minimum 7.0 Mohs Hardness Scale incorporated into green-pigmented MMA acrylic resin.
• Bus lanes: Must use calcined bauxite with minimum 8.5 Mohs Hardness Scale in red-pigmented MMA acrylic resin.
